On the Day

Medical Support

A qualified team of volunteer doctors and nurses will be located at Bourn Recreation Ground to assist with any injuries or an emergency during the race. Please seek medical advice from your local GP prior to the race if you have any concerns about competing in this event. The organisers will not be held responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage that may arise before, during or after the event as a consequence of a competitor’s participation in the race.

Changing, Toilets, Baggage

There are toilets for male and female runners at the race start and a limited number at the race finish, in the pavilion at the Recreation Ground. A disabled toilet and changing facilities are also available at the race finish. A baggage area is provided in the main pavilion at the Recreation Ground, but please do not leave any valuables. All baggage is left at the owner’s risk; this facility will NOT be manned. The race organisers will not take responsibility for any losses or damage incurred.


Hot and cold drinks and a BBQ will be provided at the Recreation Ground from 10:00am onwards. Proceeds will go to Bourn Primary Academy.

Children’s Activities

Activities will be held during the race for children up to the age of 8, at the Recreation Ground. These will be run by Everyone Active staff. There is also play equipment for all children to use during and after the race.

Lost Children

Any child that becomes separated from his or her guardian will be taken to the race headquarters at the Recreation Ground. This will be manned by a responsible adult.


Pictures and video footage may be used on the Bourn School website and in advertising material and media. All competitors entering Bourn to Run agree to their photograph or that of their children being used for these purposes.

Privacy Policy

We value your support and promise to respect your privacy. The data we gather and hold is managed in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998). We may contact you in future to update you on our plans for the next Bourn to Run. If you do not wish to receive communications from us, please tick the appropriate box on your entry form. You will also have the option on this form to receive communications from our sponsors.


The organisers have taken every step possible to ensure this is a fun, safe and enjoyable event. The race has been organised by and with the help of volunteers to raise money for charity. We hope you will take the run in the spirit in which it is intended. If however, you do have cause for complaint, please visit the race headquarters at the Recreation Ground where a formal written complaint will be recorded. This will help us ensure the event is improved upon where possible for future years.
